Truevine safari has a scheduled 10-day safari to the pearl of Africa. This includes all of Uganda’s major national parks, including Murchison Falls, Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and Lake Mburo. The 10-day safari can be tailored to the client’s interests, allowing you to see the Big 4 family members as well as the critically endangered Mountain Gorillas and Chimpanzees of Uganda.

Itinerary in Detail
Day 1: Arrival at the Airport.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International airport, you will be met by our professional guide, briefed about your upcoming journey, and transferred to your lodge.
Day 2: Depart Kampala for Murchison Falls National Park with a visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary and hike top of the falls
Today we meet with our guide for the transfer to Murchison falls National Park at 7:00 Am. This journey will take you to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola to track some of the only remaining White and Black rhinos which were poached to extinction in the early 1970s. After embarking on a drive with a lunch break in Masindi, continue to Murchison falls National Park with a visit to the top of the falls. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge / Nile Safari Camp / Red Chill Camp
Day 3: Half-day game drive and afternoon Nile boat cruise
Today, depending on where you are staying, get up early for a game drive to the park. If you are staying on the park’s southern banks, take a ferry to the park’s northern sector. This area is home to a variety of wildlife species, including lions, buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, and leopards.
Then return for lunch while waiting for an afternoon Nile boat cruise. This will allow you to see a variety of water species such as hippos, crocodiles, and the rare shoebill stock. Return to Paraa Safari Lodge / Nile Safari Camp / Red Chill Camp for the daybreak, dinner, and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Today, get up early for breakfast and then check out of the lodge for the transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. The journey will take approximately (6-7 hours drive), with a lunch break in Hoima town at Kolping hotel before continuing to Kibale National Park. The breathtaking countryside scenery of the Mt Rwenzori ranges, the traditional state-of-the-art hurts in Kagadi and Kyenjojo, and the tea plantations will be visible along the way. Arrive late in the afternoon for check-in, refreshments with dinner, and overnight stay at Ndali Lodge, Kibale Forest Camp.
Day 5: Chimp tracking experience and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up early for breakfast and report to Kanyancu Park headquarters for a briefing on the chimp tracking experience by a UWA expert ranger. Just after that, you will be divided into groups of six people and led into the forest in search of the next cousin to man. This could take anything between 1 to 5 hours, depending on the chimp’s movement. As per the tracking rules you will only be allowed to spend one hour in their front yard if you encounter them. This eventually enables you to learn and observe the behaviors of these endangered creatures while taking photos.
After returning to the lodge for lunch before embarking on the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Kasenda crater field areas. As you arrive in the park in the evening and check into your reserved lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Mweya safari Lodge, Ishasha Jungle Lodge, Park view safari Lodge.
Day 6: Morning game drive and afternoon launch cruise along the Kazinga channel.
Get up early for breakfast and prepare for a game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park’s vast wilderness. The drive will allow you to see some of the wild species such as lions, leopards, elephant herds, buffaloes, oribi, bushbucks, and so on, particularly along the Kasenyi plains. Return to the lodge to refresh and eat lunch while waiting for the afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga channel.
The two-hour boat ride will allow you to see other species such as hippos, elephants, buffaloes, and water birds while taking photos that will last a lifetime. After that, return to the lodge for refreshment, dinner, and overnight at Mweya safari Lodge, Ishasha Jungle Lodge, and Park view safari Lodge.
Day 7: After an early morning game drive, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today, wake up early for breakfast and then check out of the lodge before heading to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. An en-route game drive will allow you to photograph wildlife such as Uganda kobs, bushbucks, and the tree climbing lions. A quick lunch break in the Ishasha sector. Later in the afternoon, continue with a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
Day 8: Gorilla Trekking experience
Start your adventure trek to Bwindi’s mist-covered forests in search of the critically endangered mountain gorilla species. Depending on the gorillas’ movement, this might take between 1 to 8 hours. According to the trekking regulations, if you have a gorilla encounter, you can spend an hour in their front yard. Giving you a chance to take pictures while learning and observing the behaviors of these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Later, return to the Park Headquarters where you will receive a certificate for mountain gorillas trekking before making your way to the lodge for dinner and the night
Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo National park (4- 6 hours drive)
After breakfast, get ready for the transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. The trip will take you through the stunning Kabale terraced hills. Take a lunch break at the Igongo Museum in Mbarara, and then go on a cultural walk to learn about the ancient traditional Ankole culture. After that, drive to Lake Mburo National Park for an evening game drive. Later, go check in at the lodge for refreshments with dinner and overnight at Mihingo lodge/ Rwakobo rock lodge
Day 10: Transfer to Entebbe Airport
After breakfast, go on a game drive through Lake Mburo National Park to see the spectacular scenery, landscape, and wildlife. The Ankole plateau plains, with raised hills bordering Uganda and Tanzania, are home to this game reserve. Zebra, impala, topi, eland, bushbuck, buffalo, warthog, leopard, hyena, and jackal are among the 68 mammals that live here. After that, return to Entebbe airport with a brief stop at Kayabwe equator for souvenir shopping and a lunch break. Then proceed to the Airport for your flight home.
