5-Day Uganda Wildlife, Primate & Lake Bunyonyi Safari

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse and breathtaking parks. Upon arrival, you will check in  lodge, where you can relax and soak in the stunning views of the savannah. Later, enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of elephants, buffaloes, lions, and various antelope species.

Wake up to an early morning game drive through the Kasenyi plains, an excellent spot to see predators like lions and leopards. After breakfast, visit the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. This cruise offers a chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species up close. Return to lodge for the night.

After breakfast, depart for chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu Forest Reserve. Later transfer to  Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas via Ishasha Sector for Tree-Climbing Lions. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and prepare for the next day's trek. The journey to Bwindi is scenic, passing through rolling hills and local communities. If time allows, enjoy a cultural visit to the Batwa pygmy community for an enriching experience.

Today is the highlight of your safari gorilla trekking in Bwindi! After a briefing from park rangers, embark on a once-in-a-lifetime trek to find a habituated gorilla family. Spend an unforgettable hour observing their behaviors before trekking back. Later, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, a magical destination known as "The Switzerland of Africa." Check in at your lodge and unwind with breathtaking views of the lake.
