Your Fantastic 7-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Entebbe

Your journey begins with your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, where you will be greeted by our safari guide. Enjoy the warm Ugandan hospitality as you are transferred to your hotel in Entebbe. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the hotel or take a brief walk around the serene Lake Victoria shores. Enjoy your first night in Uganda with a delicious welcome dinner, setting the tone for the adventure that awaits.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest national park, renowned for its breathtaking waterfalls and diverse wildlife. The journey takes you through the beautiful Ugandan countryside. Along the way branch off to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino Tracking one of the Big Five. Later have your lunch break then proceed to the top of the falls, afterwards continue to your hotel. if time permits, take an evening game drive to get your first glimpse of Uganda's incredible wildlife, including giraffes, elephants, and buffalo. End your day with a relaxing dinner at the lodge.

Day 3: Murchison Falls and Game Drive

Start your day with an early morning game drive in the cool morning air, maximizing your chances of seeing predators such as lions and leopards. After breakfast back at the lodge, embark on a boat trip to the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls, where the Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge before plunging 45 meters below. This boat trip offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities along the riverbanks. In the afternoon, hike to the top of the falls for a stunning view of the Nile's transformation. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Depart Murchison Falls National Park after breakfast for Kibale Forest National Park, famous for its population of habituated chimpanzees and 12 other primate species. The drive itself is a delightful journey through Uganda's rural landscape, with tea plantations and traditional villages along the way. Check into your lodge upon arrival and enjoy an evening at leisure, surrounded by the sounds of the forest.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale and Bigodi Wetland Walk

The highlight of Kibale Forest National Park is the chimpanzee trekking experience. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing and then embark on your trek. Spending time with these fascinating primates in their natural habitat is an unforgettable experience. After lunch, take a guided walk through the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, where you can see a variety of birds and monkeys. The sanctuary is also a great example of community-based conservation. Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

After breakfast, travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its biodiversity, including the famous tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector. Begin with a game drive upon entering the park, looking out for elephants, buffalos, and antelopes. After lunch at your lodge, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. This cruise offers unparalleled wildlife viewing opportunities, with elephants, hippos, and numerous birds visible from the boat. Return to the lodge for your final night in the wilderness.

Day 7: Departure via Kampala or Entebbe

On your final day, start with a leisurely breakfast before beginning your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, with an optional stop at the Equator for photographs and souvenir shopping. Reflect on the incredible experiences of the past week, from the powerful Murchison Falls and the intimate encounters with chimpanzees in Kibale to the diverse wildlife of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You'll arrive in Kampala or Entebbe in the afternoon, in time for your departure flight, carrying with you memories of the pearls of Uganda that will last a lifetime.
